After the APUSH exam we will read Flyboys by James Bradley. Students will be required to comment on the chapters of the book and reply to comments made by classmates.
The assignment:
After each chapter the student will need to write a reaction. The reaction will need to be a minimum of TEN sentences (significant paragraph). That reaction should reflect on that chapter’s content. IT SHOULD NOT BE A SUMMARY. The reaction needs to demonstrate the student read the chapter and should be thought provoking.
In each post the chapter will be listed with a date. The date is when the POST is due. Each post is worth 15 points.
The day after each student must REACT to one of his/her classmate’s posts. The reaction needs to be 4 sentences minimum and should be more than just complimentary or a point of agreement. Students should expand on a peer's writing, question an aspect or even disagree with a constructive explanation. This reaction is worth 5 points.
EACH BLOG IS WORTH 20 POINTS.
